Precision Cutting Tool

The Scotch 1446 is a 6-inch stainless steel scissor designed for clean cuts on fabric, heavyweight paper and photographs. Its straight, precision-sharpened blades provide a smooth cutting action for detailed work. A soft comfort grip handle reduces fatigue during extended use. The tool is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed users.

Home and Creative Users

Crafters, office workers and students who need a reliable cutting tool for mixed media projects will find this model effective. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and maintains a sharp edge over time. Buyers who require non-stick coated blades for adhesive materials or titanium-fused edges for extreme durability should consider alternative designs. Heavy industrial volume cutting also falls outside the intended use.

Six-Inch Stainless Steel Blades

The 6-inch blade length determines the maximum cut span and leverage available for each stroke. This dimension suits detailed trimming and curved cuts on standard craft and office materials. Users needing longer continuous cuts across wide fabric bolts or large poster boards will find the reach limiting. The fixed blade length is the primary factor in matching the tool to the task.
