Six-Roll Pack with Dispensers

This pack contains six rolls of Scotch 145-6 Sure Start packing tape. Each roll measures 1.88 inches wide by 22.2 yards long on a 1.5-inch core. A built-in dispenser with fall-back tabs is included on every roll to keep the adhesive end accessible.

Best for High-Volume Sealing

The synthetic rubber adhesive delivers a strong hold rated for boxes up to 80 lbs and resists splitting during unwind. It suits households or small businesses moving, shipping, or storing seasonal items. Buyers needing reinforced strapping tape or a heavier industrial grade should look at something else.

Ready to Use on Any Flat Surface

The tape adheres to standard cardboard and plastic shipping containers without special preparation. Water-resistant construction maintains the seal in damp conditions. Non-toxic materials make it safe for general home and office environments. The compact package dimensions of 6.563 x 8.063 x 3 inches fit easily on a shelf or in a drawer.

Questions about this item

Does the tape come with its own dispenser or do I need a separate 1.5-in. core holder?

Each of the six rolls is already mounted on a 1.5-in. core inside its own dispenser with fall-back tabs, so no extra holder is required.

Will the 1.88-in. wide tape overlap cleanly on boxes previously sealed with narrower 1.5-in. tape?

The wider 1.88-in. tape covers the older seam completely and its synthetic rubber adhesive bonds to the existing tape surface without lifting.

How can I confirm the seal will hold up to 80 lbs during shipping?

After applying the tape, press firmly along the full length; the tape resists splitting and tearing, and the manufacturer rates the seal for boxes up to 80 lbs.
