Double-Sided Tape for Crafts

Three rolls of Scotch 3136 double-sided tape arrive in individual dispensers, each holding a clear polypropylene strip that measures half an inch wide by two hundred fifty inches long. The adhesive coats both sides for a permanent, mess-free bond that replaces liquid glue in paper-based projects. Water-resistant construction keeps the hold secure even when humidity changes.

Teachers, card makers and scrapbookers

The tape suits classroom displays, handmade cards, collages and mixed-media work where an invisible, liner-free join is preferred. Buyers who need a removable adhesive for temporary wall mounting or a heavy-duty tape for structural repairs should consider other formulations. The included dispensers simplify one-handed application on a desk or craft table.

Half-inch width by 250-inch length

Every roll delivers a continuous .5 in by 250 in clear strip on a one-inch core, letting you cut exact lengths without waste. The protective eight-inch wrapper must be removed before the first use, after which the tape feeds smoothly from the dispenser. This single dimension set determines whether the roll fits the project scale you have in mind.

Questions about this item

What surface does the .5 in wide tape need to stick to?

The permanent adhesive on both sides bonds to paper, cardstock, photos and similar craft surfaces without a separate liner.

Will the 250 in roll fit in my existing 1 in core dispenser?

Each roll is wound on a 1 in core and is already housed in its own included dispenser, so no separate dispenser is required.

How can I confirm the tape is dispensing correctly after removing the 8 in protective wrap?

The tape should glide smoothly from the dispenser, appear clear on the project and hold pieces together without visible adhesive residue.
