Griddle Cleaner 32 oz

This liquid griddle cleaner is formulated for food-service operators who need a ready-to-use degreaser that works on hot surfaces. The 32 oz bottle delivers a water-based, butyl-free formula that is GRAS listed and Green Seal certified. It contains no phosphates and is non-flammable for safer handling in commercial kitchens.

Effective Range 300 to 350 Degrees F

The product is designed to clean griddles at operating temperatures between 300 and 350 degrees Fahrenheit without a flash point. Its orange liquid form applies directly to the hot surface for immediate action on baked-on residue. The unscented, biodegradable-free composition avoids added fragrance while maintaining cleaning power during normal use.

Upgrade From Manual Scraping

This cleaner replaces labor-intensive scraping and harsh chemical alternatives that require dilution or cooling downtime. The jump is worth it for crews who need to maintain grill hygiene during service without interrupting cooking flow. It is not suited for cold-surface sanitation or equipment that cannot reach the minimum effective temperature.

Questions about this item

How do I apply Scotch-Brite 701 liquid cleaner to a hot griddle, and what temperature mistake should I avoid?

Apply directly to the griddle surface while it is between 300 and 350 degrees Fahrenheit; do not use it on a cold surface or above the maximum effective temperature.

Will I need to replace any parts of the 32 oz bottle or buy a separate applicator for Scotch-Brite 701?

No replacement parts or separate applicators are required; the bottle is ready to use and contains no components that wear out.

What is the first limitation I will hit when using Scotch-Brite 701 continuously during a long cooking shift?

The cleaner loses effectiveness if the griddle temperature drops below 300 degrees Fahrenheit or rises above 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
