Touchless Electronic Dispenser

The Scott 48860 Essential Electronic Towel Dispenser delivers touchless hand drying for commercial washrooms. It operates on batteries that last up to five years and provides more than 120,000 dispenses per set. The unit is 99.9 percent jam-free to reduce cross-contamination risk. A transparent cover allows quick supply checks without opening the cabinet.

Suitable Settings and Limitations

This dispenser suits high-traffic facilities that want reliable, low-maintenance touchless operation. It works with Scott Essential Hard Roll Paper Towels on a 1.75 inch core. Sites that prefer centre-pull towels, folded towels, or a different core size should select another model. Buyers needing a hard-wired power supply or a stainless-steel finish will not find those options here.

Core Compatibility Decides Fit

The single specification that determines whether this dispenser fits your supply chain is the 1.75 inch core requirement for Scott Essential Hard Roll Paper Towels (02001). If your current towel rolls use a different core diameter, the dispenser will not accept them. Verify the core size before purchasing to avoid supply mismatches.
