Multi-purpose shop towels for automotive

Scott 75147 shop towels come in blue perforated rolls built for heavy-duty wiping in automotive repair shops and garages. Each case contains 12 standard rolls with 55 sheets per roll for a total of 660 towels. The portable rolls fit standard holders and suit DIY maintenance, detailing and fluid changes.

Sustained wet strength and grease absorption

These towels are engineered to stay ultra-strong and durable even when saturated with liquids. They absorb grease, oils and spills repeatedly across long work sessions without falling apart. The super-heavy absorbency level supports continuous heavy wiping tasks such as oil changes and parts cleaning.

Replaces reusable cloth towels to reduce lead

Switching from washable shop rags to these disposable paper towels helps protect workers from lead contamination that can linger on laundered cloths. The jump is worth it when a shop handles leaded materials or wants to eliminate laundry logistics. They are not suited for buyers who need a lint-free wipe for precision electronics or paint prep.

Questions about this item

Do these blue shop towels produce dust or lint when used all day in a garage?

Each towel is ultra-strong and works well even when wet, so linting stays low during extended cleaning of grease, oil and spills.

What dispenser or holder do I need for the 11 in by 9 1/2 in perforated rolls?

The standard rolls fit on ordinary paper towel holders and dispense easily thanks to the perforations.

Can I use these 55-sheet rolls alongside my older cotton shop rags without issues?

Yes — the paper towels are designed as a disposable alternative to reusable rags and help reduce lead exposure when used for the same automotive tasks.
