Kraft Brown Takeout Box

This SCT ChampPak container is a single-compartment paper box with an integrated hinged lid that locks shut. It is sized at 7.75 by 5.5 by 3.5 inches and made from uncoated Kraft board with a polycoated interior. The plain brown finish suits cafes, delis and catering operations that need a simple, presentable vessel for hot or cold meals.

Capacity and Leak Resistance

The box holds one portion of food such as a sandwich, salad or small entrée without internal dividers. Its polycoated lining resists moisture from sauces, dressings or condensation, reducing the chance of leaks during transport. The nestable design lets staff stack dozens of empty units in a tight footprint, keeping prep areas clear during peak service.

Closure and Storage Limits

The tuck-top-locking lid stays closed without tape or bands, but it is not vented, so steam can soften the board on very hot dishes. The flat blank sides offer no built-in branding or labelling area, requiring stickers or stamps for order identification. With zero recycled content and no biodegradability rating, the box goes to general waste unless local composting accepts polycoated paper.

Questions about this item

Will the 7.75 by 5.5 inch footprint stack neatly on my existing 8 by 6 inch deli containers?

The 7.75 by 5.5 inch base is slightly smaller than an 8 by 6 inch footprint, so it will sit inside or on top without overhang, and the nestable design keeps stacks stable.

How do I confirm the tuck-top-locking closure is sealing properly after I fold it?

Press the lid until the front tab clicks into the front-lock slot; the lid should sit flush with the sidewalls and resist a gentle tug.

Does the box include the polycoated interior liner or must I order it separately?

The polycoated interior is built into each Kraft box; nothing extra is required.
