Enterprise 2.5" 7mm NVMe SSD delivering 6000 MB/s reads and 1900 MB/s writes with 4300 TBW endurance
The Seagate Nytro 5550M XP800LE10005 is an 800GB enterprise solid-state drive built for PCIe 4.0 x4 slots. It uses 3D eTLC NAND and the NVMe protocol to deliver sustained sequential reads up to 6000 MBps and writes up to 1900 MBps. Random read performance reaches 1,000,000 IOPS with 140,000 IOPS for random writes. The drive is rated for 4300TB written and a 2,500,000-hour MTBF.
This drive fits servers and storage arrays that need consistent low-latency NVMe performance over a PCIe 4.0 interface. The 2.5-inch 7mm form factor suits standard hot-swap bays. It is not for buyers who require hardware-based encryption on the drive itself. Systems limited to PCIe 3.0 or without NVMe support cannot use this drive at its rated speed.
The single specification that determines fit is the PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe connection. Your backplane or motherboard must provide this exact electrical and protocol link. If the slot is PCIe 3.0 only, or uses a different protocol, the drive will not operate as specified.

Run a sustained 128 KB sequential read test at queue depth 64; the drive should report up to 6,000 MB/s and 90 µs average read latency.
The bare 2.5" 7 mm drive ships alone; you must supply a U.2 or PCIe 4.0 x4 carrier, 12 V power, and any mounting hardware.
The 800 GB model provides exactly 4,300 TB written and 3 drive writes per day over five years.
