Rigid Kraft Mailer for Flat Items

This Sealed Air Jiffy Rigi Bag mailer uses extra-rigid kraft-laminated fiberboard to protect documents, photos and certificates from bending or tearing in transit. The cohesive self-seal closes without tape and the tear tape on the flap lets the recipient open it cleanly. Each carton holds 75 mailers measuring 14.25 inches wide by 18.5 inches long.

Upgrade from Standard Envelopes

Switch when ordinary paper envelopes let contents crease, tear or slip out during handling. The rigid board construction resists impact and the self-sealing flap removes the need for separate tape, speeding up high-volume mail-outs such as invitations, reports or artwork.

Check Dimensions and Volume Needs

Verify that your contents fit inside the 14.25 by 18.5 inch outer dimensions before ordering. Confirm that a carton of 75 units matches your mailing volume so you do not run short or store excess stock. Ensure your postage budget covers the weight and thickness of a rigid mailer.

Questions about this item

Will the 14.25 by 18.5 inch outer size fit standard A4 documents without folding?

The outside dimensions are 14.25 inches wide by 18.5 inches long, giving enough room for flat A4 sheets with a small border on all sides.

How do I seal the cohesive self-seal flap correctly, and what is the common mistake?

Remove the release liner, press the flap firmly across its full width, then pull the tear tape to open; the step often missed is applying even pressure along the entire adhesive strip.

When should I replace a mailer from this 75-count carton if the rigid fiberboard gets damaged?

Replace any mailer that shows creases, punctures or delamination of the kraft-laminated fiberboard, as the rigid structure provides the impact protection.
