Product Identity

SEAMEW V46 Paper Craft delivers 50 sheets of traditional rice paper sized 13.4 x 18.1 inches for Chinese brush painting and Japanese sumi. Artists seeking authentic Xuan paper with clear grain structure will find a consistent surface that supports detailed calligraphy and ink wash techniques.

Medium Constraints

The paper weighs 67 lbs and measures 0.4 inches thick per pack, limiting portability for plein air work. Ink absorption characteristics suit brush and sumi applications but may not suit heavy watercolour washes or wet-on-wet techniques that require heavier sizing.

Setup Check

Verify that your brushes and inks are formulated for raw Xuan paper rather than sized western papers. Confirm storage space accommodates the 18.1-inch sheet length flat to prevent curling, and ensure your workspace tolerates potential ink bleed-through during extended sessions.
