Product Identity

This replacement remote operates Sears Craftsman, LiftMaster and Chamberlain garage door openers manufactured between 2006 and 2013 that feature a purple learn button. It suits homeowners needing a spare or replacement transmitter for up to three compatible openers or gate operators.

Capacity and Headroom

The three-button layout lets you control three separate doors or gates from one handset using Security+ rolling code at 315 MHz. Range reaches 120 feet, so you can activate the opener while approaching the driveway.

Interface Limits

The remote works only with openers displaying a purple learn button and lacks DIP-switch programming, so it cannot pair with older fixed-code units or brands such as Genie, Overhead Door, Linear, Raynor, Marantz, Precision or Legacy.
