FOCUS GX ATX 3.1 850 W

This full-modular power supply delivers 850 W of continuous power and meets the ATX 3.1 specification. It carries 80 PLUS Gold certification and uses a single 135 mm fluid-dynamic-bearing fan for cooling. The unit accepts a universal 100 - 240 V input range and measures 140 mm by 150 mm by 86 mm.

For RTX 40 Super and RTX 50 builds

Builders pairing this unit with RTX 40 Super or RTX 50 graphics cards gain native 12V-2x6 connector support. Systems that do not need the new connector will still operate normally, but the extra cable may be unnecessary. Anyone needing more than 850 W should consider a higher-capacity model.

ATX 3.1 compliance decides fit

The ATX 3.1 label confirms the supply includes the 12V-2x6 interface required by the latest GPU power standard. If your graphics card uses the older 12-pin or 8-pin connectors only, the new interface is not mandatory for operation.

Questions about this item

Does my case need to accept a 150 mm long ATX power supply for the GX-850 to fit?

Yes, the unit is 140 mm deep and the spec lists a maximum PSU length of 150 mm, so your case must support at least that depth.

Can I keep using my older PCIe 6+2 pin cables with this fully modular 850 W unit?

Yes, the modular design lets you connect only the cables you need, and the 80 PLUS Gold certified 850 W output works with standard PCIe 6+2 pin connectors for existing graphics cards.

How do I confirm the 135 mm FDB fan is spinning correctly after installation?

Power on the system and listen for the fan; the fluid dynamic bearing should run quietly at low load and increase speed as power draw rises toward 850 W.
