Vertex PX-1200 1200W ATX Power Supply

The Seasonic Vertex PX-1200 delivers 1200W of continuous power in a standard ATX form factor. It carries 80+ Platinum certification for high efficiency across typical loads. This unit suits enthusiasts building high-end workstations or multi-GPU systems that demand substantial, stable power delivery.

Upgrading from lower-wattage

Replaces power supplies that cannot sustain 1200W or lack Platinum-level efficiency, reducing waste heat and electricity cost under heavy load. The jump is worth it when your build draws near the 1200W limit or when you prioritise efficiency at high utilisation. Not for systems that peak well below this capacity or for builders who need a smaller form factor.

Questions about this item

What ATX form factor clearance does the Vertex PX-1200 require in my case?

The Vertex PX-1200 follows the standard ATX form factor, so any case that accepts a regular ATX power supply will accommodate it.

How do I connect the cables correctly, and which step do builders often miss?

Use only the modular cables supplied with this unit, seat each connector firmly until it clicks, and remember to plug the 24-pin ATX and CPU power cables before closing the case.
