SEDNA PCI-E 1X to 16X riser card with 20cm flexible ribbon cable

SEDNA

SEDNA SE-PCIE-1X-16X PCI-E 1X to 16X extender riser card 20cm cable

SKU CH-Z2NB-545Z0

PCI-E 1X to 16X extender riser card with 20cm flexible ribbon cable for spacing GPUs in tight chassis or mining rigs

  • Extends a single PCI-E lane to a 16-lane slot with a 20cm cable
  • Gold-plated contacts improve signal integrity and connector lifespan
  • Flexible ribbon design fits inside 1U and 2U chassis
  • No driver installation required for immediate use
  • Separates graphics cards for better airflow during mining

PCI-E 1X to 16X riser for compact builds

This SEDNA SE-PCIE-1X-16X extender lets a full-length graphics card sit in a 1U or 2U chassis by converting a single-lane slot into a physical 16-lane connector. No driver installation is required and the card does not support hot-swapping.

20 cm flex ribbon cable spaces GPUs apart

The supplied 20 cm ribbon provides enough reach to move the graphics card away from the motherboard, improving airflow around the cooler when multiple cards are installed for mining workloads.

Gold-plated contacts and x1 electrical link

Gold plating on the edge connector resists oxidation for a durable connection. The link remains electrically x1, so bandwidth-sensitive tasks will be limited to single-lane throughput.

Questions about this item

Does the 20 cm ribbon cable need periodic replacement?

The ribbon cable is a passive flex circuit with gold-plated contacts and has no moving parts, so no scheduled replacement is required.

What limits continuous operation when a GPU draws full power through the 1x link?

The electrical limit is the single-lane PCIe 1x connection, which caps bandwidth and power delivery to the slot's rated maximum.

Does the adapter add noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day mining?

The adapter itself has no active cooling and draws negligible power, so it adds no measurable heat or noise to the system.
