Add-on board with 15 Grove interfaces connects over 100 sensors to Raspberry Pi without soldering
The GrovePi+ is an add-on board that brings 15 Grove 4-pin interfaces to Raspberry Pi models B, B+, A+, 2, 3 and 4. It provides seven digital ports, three analogue ports, three I2C ports and two serial ports for connecting sensors without soldering or breadboards. Makers, educators and prototypers can plug in any of the supported Grove modules and start programming immediately. Three mounting holes align with every Raspberry Pi version and a camera cable outlet hole is included.
The board uses faster SPI and higher-reliability UART connections to maintain stable communication during long-running data-logging or control tasks. Improved voltage-level conversion sub-circuits keep signal integrity consistent when multiple sensors operate simultaneously. Firmware update procedures are simplified so the board stays compatible with evolving Raspberry Pi software without manual intervention. No active cooling is required and the board draws power directly from the Pi header.
Grove header Vcc output is fixed at 5 Vdc and the board has no onboard battery, fan or moving parts, so it adds no audible noise. The compact 88 mm by 58 mm by 23 mm form factor weighs 51 g and fits inside standard Raspberry Pi enclosures. Power consumption is limited to the connected sensors and the Pi's own supply capability. Heat dissipation is passive and negligible in normal indoor environments.

The add-on board itself has no active cooling and simply passes the Raspberry Pi's 5 V supply to its fifteen Grove sockets, so its own power draw and heat output are negligible.
You need a Raspberry Pi model B, B+, A+, 2, 3 or 4 and at least one Grove sensor or actuator; the board mounts on the Pi's GPIO header and requires no soldering.
Yes, the three holes are positioned to match every Raspberry Pi version listed, including the original model B.
