Capacity & Purpose

This Seehot SKW559 electric kettle holds 1.7 liters of water and operates at 1200W. The 304 stainless steel construction keeps plastic away from the water. A built-in thermometer shows the temperature in real time, making it useful for tea and coffee drinkers who want precise heat control. The black finish and retro-style handle suit a kitchen countertop.

Installation & Common Issues

The kettle is corded for a standard 120V outlet and needs no assembly beyond placing it on its base. Fill between the minimum and maximum marks, then switch it on. Auto shut-off activates once the water boils or if the kettle runs dry. The most common issue is limescale building up on the heating plate; regular descaling keeps boiling times consistent.

Pre-Order Checks

Confirm you have a nearby earthed socket that can supply 1200W without tripping a breaker shared with other high-draw appliances. Measure the intended surface: the unit stands 10 inches high and 5.5 inches wide, so allow clearance for the lid to open fully and for steam to vent safely. Ensure the 304 stainless interior meets any household allergy or material preferences.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Seehot SKW559 is heating correctly after first use?

Watch the built-in thermometer needle rise as the 1200W element heats the 1.7L capacity; the kettle switches off automatically once boiling is reached, confirming the auto shut-off and boil-dry protection are active.

What comes with the SKW559 and what must I supply?

The box contains the 1.7L kettle body with integrated 304 stainless steel construction, spout filter, retro-style handle and base; you only need a standard mains outlet — no extra filters, descaler or accessories are required.

Which capacity version of the Seehot kettle should I choose?

This model is offered in a single 1.7L (57 oz) size with a 1200W rating, 10-inch height and 5.5-inch width; choose it when you need enough hot water for several cups in one boil.
