Mythic Strategy

A Total War Saga: TROY is a downloadable PC game published by Sega and developed by Creative Assembly. It blends turn-based empire management with real-time battles set in the Bronze Age Mediterranean. The Steam code activates in select countries listed in the specifications. Players command one of eight legendary heroes inspired by The Iliad.

Campaign Depth

The experience focuses on grand strategic planning across the Aegean rather than short tactical skirmishes. You recruit myth-inspired units and conduct diplomacy over many turns to build a lasting empire. Sustained play rewards careful statecraft and long-term resource management across the vast campaign map.

Questions about this item

Does the Steam DRM or background client add noticeable heat or fan noise when I leave the game running all day?

The game activates through Steam and runs on Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 64-bit; any extra heat or fan noise depends on your hardware meeting the 4 GB RAM minimum and the Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz or i7-8550U 1.80 GHz processor baseline.

What must I already own to activate and play the downloadable code?

You need a Steam account, a PC running Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 64-bit with at least 4 GB RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz or i7-8550U 1.80 GHz CPU, plus an internet connection for activation.

Will the game run on my older PC that only has a GTX card and Windows 7 64-bit?

Yes, the minimum spec lists Windows 7 64-bit and an Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz or i7-8550U 1.80 GHz processor with 4 GB RAM, so a GTX-equipped system meeting those requirements can run the title.
