Epic Hero Pack for Troy

A Total War Saga: TROY – RHESUS & MEMNON is downloadable content for PC that adds two legendary heroes to the base strategy game. Published by Sega and developed by Creative Assembly, it activates via Steam on December 14, 2021. The DLC requires ownership of A Total War Saga: TROY on Steam to function.

New rosters and divine favour

This expansion replaces the standard faction selection with King Rhesus and Memnon, each bringing unique Thracian and Aethiopian unit rosters. The jump is worth it when you want 49 new units, chariots, forest ambushers and the ability to call upon Thracian gods for campaign bonuses.

Campaign-scale armies and strategic tools

The pack comfortably handles large-scale battles with Countless Host armies and reinforcements from Egypt, Aethiopia, Canaan and Susa. It runs out when players seek content outside the Epic Hero Pack scope, such as additional factions or mechanics not included in this specific DLC release.

How do I install the 49 new units and two rosters after redeeming the Steam code?

Redeem the code in Steam, ensure the DLC is ticked in the base game's properties, then launch TROY; the Thracian and Aethiopian units appear in the campaign and custom battle menus.
