Arc-flash face shield window for electrical work

The Sellstrom 312 Series window is a molded polycarbonate shield rated for arc-flash protection. It fits Sellstrom 301 Series crowns and universal pin-mount headgear through a standard hole pattern. A light green tint transmits 55% of visible light while preserving true color recognition for wire identification. The product is new and meets ANSI Z87.1+ high-impact requirements.

Sustained clarity and impact resistance

The clear molded acetate construction includes an anti-fog coating that maintains panoramic vision during extended wear. The .040-inch thickness resists high-impact strikes without cracking or distortion across the 8 by 16 viewing area. Light transmittance remains stable at 55% so color-coded conductors stay distinguishable throughout a shift. The window carries a California Proposition 65 notice for reproductive-harm chemicals.

Check headgear compatibility and regulatory needs

Verify that your existing crown or headgear uses the universal pin-mount pattern before ordering. Confirm that ANSI Z87.1+ impact rating satisfies your site safety specification. Ensure the 55% light transmittance level is acceptable for your ambient lighting conditions. The green tint is fixed and cannot be swapped for a clear or darker shade.
