USB Bluetooth dongle for desktop audio

The Sennheiser 504190 adds wireless audio to a computer that lacks built-in Bluetooth. It targets office workers and home users who want a simple way to connect headsets or speakers for calls and music.

aptX codec and automatic driver install

The bundled aptX codec improves wireless audio fidelity for compatible headphones. Driver software loads automatically on both PC and Mac, so the link is ready without manual setup or button presses.

Compact black adapter with USB-A plug

The small black housing occupies minimal space on a laptop or desktop port and travels easily in a bag. A standard USB-A connector means it fits legacy and current machines without an extra cable or dongle.

Questions about this item

Does the USB Bluetooth dongle have any replaceable parts or batteries that will need servicing later?

The dongle has no internal battery and no user-replaceable components, so no routine maintenance or part replacement is required.

What limits continuous use of the aptX audio link on this USB dongle?

The link runs from the host computer's USB port, so sustained operation is only limited by the computer remaining powered on.

Does the 504190 dongle generate noticeable heat or fan noise during all-day operation?

The adapter draws minimal USB power, runs silently with no moving parts, and stays cool during extended use.
