Sennheiser SC60 USB Binaural Headset

The Sennheiser SC60 is a dual-sided USB headset built for Microsoft Lync environments. It uses a 2.4 GHz ISM wireless link with a cord length between 5.1 ft. and 7.9 ft. ActiveGard technology protects hearing from sudden volume spikes while the noise-cancelling microphone reduces background sound during calls.

Suited for unified communications users who need

This headset fits professionals moving from traditional phone systems to Unified Communications platforms who want plug-and-play USB connectivity and Microsoft Lync certification. It is not suited for users who prefer a single-ear design or need a headset without a USB connector.

Microsoft Lync certified USB connectivity

The decisive specification is Microsoft Lync certification over a USB interface. If your deployment requires Lync-validated hardware, this model meets that requirement; if you need a different UC platform certification or an analogue connection, this headset will not match.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the SC60 headset produce during all-day use?

The SC60 is a passive headset with no fan or active electronics, so it generates no measurable heat or noise while worn.

What must I already own for the SC60 USB headset to function?

You need a device with a standard USB-A port and an operating system that supports USB audio class drivers.

Will the SC60 work alongside my older analogue headset on the same PC?

Yes, the SC60 appears as a separate USB audio device, so you can keep the analogue headset plugged in and switch between them in sound settings.
