Sennheiser Profile USB-C Microphone

The Sennheiser Profile USB-C Microphone is a cardioid condenser microphone designed for podcasters, streamers and voice-over artists who need studio-grade capture without an audio interface. It connects directly to a computer or mobile device through a single USB-C cable and requires no driver installation on Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, Android 9 or later and iPadOS 14 or later. The bundle includes a pair of TAPH100 headphones, a 10 foot USB-C cable and a table stand so you can start recording immediately.

Upgrade from built-in or headset microphones

This set replaces a laptop microphone or a basic gaming headset when clear, focused voice reproduction becomes a priority for content creation or professional calls. The cardioid pattern rejects off-axis room noise, while the pre-polarised condenser capsule captures vocal detail that small electret capsules miss. On-board gain, mix and volume knobs let you balance microphone signal against playback without opening software, a workflow improvement that justifies the step up for anyone publishing daily audio or video.

Desktop streaming bundle with monitoring

The package delivers a complete desktop voice station: microphone, monitoring headphones, stand and cable in one box. The microphone draws power from the USB 2.0 Full-Speed link, so no external power supply is needed, and the TAPH100 headphones plug into the mic’s headphone output for zero-latency monitoring. A boom arm with a standard thread can replace the included table stand if you prefer overhead positioning, while the compact footprint leaves room for a keyboard and mouse on a typical desk.

Questions about this item

What is the length of the USB-C cable that comes with the microphone?

The included USB-C cable is 10 feet long, giving you plenty of reach to connect the microphone to your computer or device.

How do you adjust the microphone angle on the included table stand, and what step is often missed?

The table stand has an adjustable tilt with a self-locking pivot; the step people miss is tightening the pivot knob firmly after positioning so the mic stays aimed at your mouth.

Will the ear pads on the bundled TAPH100 headphones need replacing, and how can you tell?

Yes, the ear pads will wear over time; replace them when the foam loses its shape, the covering cracks, or the seal around your ears no longer blocks outside noise.
