Two-Pack Folding Scissors for Travel

This two-pack supplies a spare pair of stainless-steel folding scissors for home, office or luggage. Each unit folds to a compact 5.5 x 2.2 cm profile and weighs 0.041 kg. The silver-tone finish resists corrosion during storage. They arrive new and ready for immediate use.

Users Needing Pocket-Safe Blades

The folding mechanism shields the cutting edges, making these suitable for travellers, crafters and desk workers who want a blade that stays closed in a bag. They are not suited for heavy fabric, cardboard or prolonged cutting sessions that demand full-size shears. Buyers who need spring-assisted action or ambidextrous handles should look at other designs.

10 x 6 cm Unfolded Cutting Area

When opened, each scissor provides a 10 x 6 cm working envelope for precise snips in tight spaces. This dimension determines whether the tool fits your project or if a longer blade is required. The folded length of 5.5 cm confirms pocket portability.

Questions about this item

How do I unfold the SH-00474C scissors safely and what step should I avoid skipping?

Hold the folded 5.5 x 2.2 cm body, pivot the blades open until they lock at the 10 x 6 cm unfolded size, and confirm the hinge seats fully before cutting.

What part of these stainless steel scissors will need attention over time?

The pivot hinge may loosen; tighten the centre screw occasionally and wipe the blades clean after adhesive or fibre residue builds up.

What limit appears first when I use the SH-00474C continuously on paper or thread?

Hand fatigue from the 2.2 cm folded-width grip and short 4 cm blade length reduces control before the stainless steel edge dulls.
