Hand-Held Tachometer for Rotation Speed

The Sentry ST-722 is a non-contact tachometer that measures rotation speed from 6.0 to 99,999 RPM using a laser sight. It stores up to 40 readings in memory and offers auto-ranging with fixed decimal selection. The unit is intended for electricians and maintenance technicians who need quick speed checks without physical contact.

Red ABS Housing with Tripod Mount

The red ABS body measures 147 by 49 by 29 millimetres and weighs 95 grams without the 9 V battery. A tripod mounting bushing on the base allows hands-free operation during extended monitoring. Laser sighting lets you aim at targets up to 100 centimetres away, while the contact adapter kit is not included for this model.

Verify Power Source and Measurement Range

Confirm you have a 9 V battery available, as the meter does not operate without one. Ensure the expected RPM falls within the 6.0 to 99,999 range and that the required accuracy of ±0.01% up to 5,999.9 RPM or ±0.05% above 6,000 RPM meets your application. Buyers needing contact-mode measurement or surface speed and length functions should select a different instrument.
