Compact Entry Rug

The SERISSA A-01 is a 2' x 3' rectangular runner made from 100% polyester with a low-pile surface. It suits entryways, kitchens, bathrooms or bedrooms where a soft, lightweight floor covering is wanted without raising the floor height.

Upgrade From Thin Door Mats

It replaces basic coir or flat-weave mats that curl at the edges, shed fibres or slide on hard floors. The jump is worth it when a household needs a washable rug that stays in place under daily foot traffic and tolerates spills without staining.

Light-Duty Coverage

At 1.4 pounds and 360 g/m² the rug handles regular indoor use, pet hair and occasional moisture while remaining machine washable. It runs out in heavy commercial traffic or outdoor exposure where a heavier construction and UV resistance would be required.

Questions about this item

Does the 2' x 3' rug need a separate pad to stay in place on hard floors?

The TPE rubber backing provides a non-slip surface, so an extra pad is not required for the rug to grip the floor.

Can I put the rug straight into the washing machine, or is there a first step?

Machine wash cold without bleach; the maker notes that rolling the rug in the reverse direction first helps shipping creases relax within a week.

Will the 100% polyester pile need professional cleaning or replacement after heavy use?

The low-pile construction resists shedding and stains, and the rug is fully machine washable, so routine home laundering keeps it serviceable without professional help.
