Ergonomic Mid-Back Office Chair

The Serta 44186 mid-back desk chair is designed for people who spend long hours at a desk and want active support. Its Back In Motion technology tilts the seat forward to engage core muscles and promote flexibility while you sit. Black bonded leather upholstery gives it a professional look suited to home or corporate offices.

Adjustable Arms And Mobile Base

Push-button adjustable armrests and cable-actuated levers let you change the chair’s configuration without leaving your seat. Large-diameter rolling casters and a full swivel design make it easy to move across hard floors or low-pile carpet. The adjustable height setting accommodates different desk heights and user statures.

Limits Of The Motion Mechanism

The forward-tilt mechanism is built for gentle, continuous movement rather than a locked recline position. Users who prefer a fixed backward recline or a fully rigid seat pan may find the constant motion unsuitable. The bonded leather surface, while easy to clean, does not breathe like mesh or genuine leather during extended use.
