Ergonomic Task Chair

The Serta 48967B office chair targets desk workers who want adjustable lumbar and seat support throughout a long day. Its ACES system adapts to perching and full recline alike. Gray Culp fabric covers the frame for a neutral look in home or corporate settings.

Comfort Capacity

Memory foam combined with pocket coils forms the SertaPedic cushion, delivering pressure relief that holds shape during extended sessions. Height-adjustable arms and pneumatic lift with tilt tension let each user tune fit without tools. The nylon five-star base rolls on casters for mobility across hard floors or low-pile carpet.

Chiropractic Endorsement

American Chiropractic Association endorsement signals that the design meets professional guidelines for spinal alignment. Buyers who need a mesh back, a headrest, or a heavier weight rating will not find those features here. The chair ships new and ready to assemble.

Questions about this item

Will the pneumatic lift and tilt tension adjustment work with my existing desk height?

The pneumatic lift lets you raise or lower the seat to match most desk heights, and the tilt tension adjustment with lockout lets you set the recline resistance you prefer.

How can I confirm the Active Contoured Ergonomic Support is engaging correctly after assembly?

Sit fully back — the ACES system should cradle your lower back in every posture, and the SertaPedic cushion with memory foam and pocket coils should feel evenly supportive without pressure points.

Does the chair ship with the five-star nylon base and casters already attached, or must I buy them separately?

The five-star nylon base and casters are included in the box; no additional parts are required for assembly.
