Direct-fit replacement

The Sharp ANXR20L2 is a new 275 W projector lamp module supplied as a complete bulb-and-housing assembly. It is designed for owners of compatible Sharp projectors who need a ready-to-install light source without separate handling of the bare bulb.

Restores original brightness

This lamp replaces a depleted or failed original module and returns the projector to its factory light output. The step up is worthwhile when the existing lamp has reached the end of its rated 2 000 hours in normal mode or 3 000 hours in economy mode and image dimming becomes noticeable.

Fixed 275 W power draw

The lamp operates at a constant 275 W, so the projector's power supply and cooling system must already be rated for that load. It cannot be used in models specified for lower or higher wattage lamps, and it does not support user-adjustable power levels beyond the projector's built-in normal and economy settings.

Questions about this item

Does the Sharp ANXR20L2 lamp module include the housing so I can fit it straight into my projector?

Yes, the unit ships as a fully assembled 275W bulb inside its housing, so it slots directly into the projector without extra assembly.

What is the installation step users most often miss when swapping this lamp?

After inserting the module, you must reset the projector's lamp-hour counter through the on-screen menu; otherwise the unit will still show the old usage time.

When will I need to replace the ANXR20L2 based on its rated life?

Expect roughly 2,000 hours in normal mode or up to 3,000 hours in economy mode before a new lamp is required.
