Sharp EL1611V 12-digit printing calculator

Compact printing calculator

The Sharp EL1611V is a 12-digit printing calculator designed for offices and classrooms that need a paper record of every calculation. Its two-colour printer produces black and red output at two lines per second so positive and negative figures are instantly distinguishable. Battery or optional AC power lets it move between desks without a fixed outlet.

Desktop workflow fit

The unit sits flat on a desk and runs on four AA batteries, removing the need for a nearby mains socket during audits or classroom activities. An optional AC adapter can replace the batteries for stationary use, freeing the user from monitoring cell life. The compact footprint leaves space for documents and a keyboard on the same surface.

Built-in functions and print record

Decimal, rounding, percent and tax keys handle common financial tasks without manual conversion steps. Four-key memory stores frequently used totals for quick recall during repetitive entries. The printed tape creates a permanent audit trail that cannot be altered, replacing handwritten logs for expense reports or inventory counts.
