Classroom and boardroom projector

The Sharp P621U-W is a WUXGA laser projector built for higher-education and corporate environments where bright, reliable images are needed every day. Its LCD engine and sealed cooling system remove the filter-maintenance cycle, so the unit runs quietly and stays ready for back-to-back sessions.

Sustained operation without filter changes

The IP5x-sealed optical block keeps dust out of the light path, allowing the blue-laser phosphor source to deliver 6,200 lumens typical and 6,500 center lumens continuously for up to 20,000 hours. Whisper-quiet cooling maintains stable brightness through long lectures or all-day meetings without the performance dip that clogged filters cause.

Replaces lamp-based installations needing less

Facilities teams upgrading from projectors that require regular lamp swaps and filter cleaning gain a near set-and-forget platform with manual lens shift, 1.6× zoom and HDBaseT connectivity. The jump is worth it when total cost of ownership and classroom uptime matter more than the initial purchase price.

Questions about this item

How loud is the P621U-W during all-day operation?

Sharp's patented IP5x sealed LCD cooling system removes the need for a filter and enables whisper-quiet operation, eliminating the distraction of noisier projectors during extended use.

Which cables or sources must I already have to use the HDBaseT input?

Connect 4K UHD 3840x2160 at 30 Hz or WUXGA 1920x1200 signals through the HDBaseT port using a compatible HDBaseT transmitter and Cat5e/6 cable from your source device.

Will the 1.6× manual zoom and lens shift work with my existing ceiling mount?

Broad horizontal and vertical manual lens shift plus 1.6× manual zoom give flexible placement, and roll-free capability lets the projector integrate with existing mounts without image rotation.
