Genuine DMD Chip for Sharp XR-32X

This genuine OEM DMD chip is a direct replacement component for the Sharp XR-32X projector. It restores the display engine so the unit can project a clear image again. The part suits technicians or owners repairing a projector with a failed or degrading DLP imager.

Tested for zero dead pixels

Each chip undergoes extensive testing at least three times to confirm a clear image with no dead pixels before it ships. The verification process ensures reliable light modulation and consistent picture quality once installed. A 60 day warranty covers the component after purchase.

Exact model compatibility only

This accessory fits the Sharp XR-32X exclusively and will not work in any other projector model. Buyers needing a chip for a different Sharp series or another brand must source the correct part number for their specific unit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the DMD chip in the Sharp XR-32X and which step is most often done wrong?

The chip seats into the optical engine after removing the lamp housing and top cover; the step most often missed is reseating the flexible ribbon cable fully before locking the latch.

What maintenance will this DMD chip need later?

No scheduled maintenance is required for the chip itself; keep the projector air filters clean so dust cannot settle on the DMD surface and cause bright or dark spots.

What limit appears first when the Sharp XR-32X runs continuously?

The optical engine’s thermal limit is reached before the DMD chip degrades; sustained use raises internal temperature until the projector’s protection circuit shuts the lamp down.
