Original Permanent Marker Set

The Sharpie 75846 set supplies 24 fine-point markers in assorted colours for everyday marking tasks. The original pen-style design is recognised as an industry standard for permanent identification on a wide range of surfaces.

Sustained Marking Performance

Quick-drying ink remains waterproof, smearproof and fade-resistant during continuous use on hard-to-mark materials. Non-washable formulation ensures marks stay legible on files, labels and equipment without feathering or bleeding over time.

Surface Compatibility Limits

Permanent adhesion works on most hard-to-mark surfaces including plastic, metal, glass and cardboard. Ink will not bond reliably to wet, oily or non-porous coated substrates where solvent-based formulas cannot penetrate.

Questions about this item

Will the 24 markers dry out if I leave them uncapped during a full workday?

The quick-drying ink is designed to be waterproof, smearproof and fade-resistant once on the surface, but the markers themselves should be recapped when not in use to prevent the tips from drying out.

Do I need any special paper or surface for the Sharpie 75846 to write permanently?

The ink is permanent on most hard-to-mark surfaces, so no special paper is required; it adheres to a wide variety of materials straight out of the pack.

Can I use these fine-point markers on older filing systems with 17 pt. Kraft dividers and 25 pt. pressboard covers?

Yes, the fine-point tips write cleanly on the pressboard covers and Kraft dividers commonly found in traditional filing systems.
