  • Product typeWheelbarrows & Carts
  • Total-lock brake secures wheel and swivel simultaneously
  • 210 lb load rating supports heavy equipment safely
  • Non-marking TPR tread protects floors from scuffs
  • 3 in wheel diameter rolls smoothly over thresholds
  • Polyolefin core resists impact and chemical exposure

Swivel Plate Caster with Total-Lock Brake

This single swivel plate caster uses a total-lock brake that stops both wheel rotation and swivel movement at the same time. It carries a 210 lb load rating on a 3 in diameter wheel that is 1 1/4 in wide. The rubber tread on a polyolefin core is non-marking for indoor floors.

Load Rating and Brake Engagement Limits

The 210 lb capacity is the practical ceiling for this caster; exceeding it risks premature wear or sudden failure. Total-lock engagement requires firm pedal pressure, so very light carts may not generate enough force to lock reliably on smooth surfaces.

Mounting Pattern and Clearance Check

Verify that the plate bolt-hole spacing matches your existing equipment before ordering. Confirm the 3 in wheel diameter and overall caster height fit the available clearance under the cart or wheelbarrow frame.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 35 lb and 210 lb versions?

The product is offered as a single caster rated for 210 lb; there is no 35 lb version to select.

What does the 210 lb load rating mean when the caster is mounted on a cart?

It indicates the maximum weight this single caster can safely support when installed, so total cart capacity depends on how many casters are used.

Does the total-lock brake meet the 65 standard for locking both wheel and swivel?

The total-lock brake engages both the wheel and the swivel simultaneously, holding the equipment firmly in place.
