A rigid plate caster with a 4-inch non-marking rubber wheel rated for 260 lb capacity
This rigid plate caster supports a 260 lb load rating with a 4 in wheel diameter. The wheel uses rubber tread on a polyolefin core and is non-marking. It has no brake and no swivel lock, so the wheel rolls straight without steering. Suitable for carts and wheelbarrows needing fixed-direction movement.
The plate mounting allows direct bolting to flat surfaces on equipment frames. Rubber tread on a polyolefin core resists floor marking and provides quiet rolling on smooth surfaces. The rigid design eliminates swivel play, keeping loaded carts tracking straight during transport. No brake means the caster rolls freely unless the equipment has its own locking system.
This caster replaces swivel casters when straight-line tracking is preferred over maneuverability. It also upgrades from lower-capacity rigid casters that cannot handle 260 lb loads. The jump is worth it when equipment moves on fixed paths and floor protection is required. Not for applications needing steering or wheel locking at the caster.

The 260 lb load rating is the maximum capacity for this rigid plate caster with a 4 in wheel diameter and 1 1/4 in wheel width.
The rigid top plate mounts with four bolts; the polyolefin core wheel with rubber tread is non-marking and fits standard plate caster brackets.
Bolt the top plate to the equipment frame using all four mounting holes; the missed step is confirming the plate sits flush so the wheel rolls true without binding.
