Cut Resistant Glove Reversible Large
The Showa Best Glove 8113C-09 is a reversible cut resistant glove designed for general purpose hand protection. It uses HPPE material in a seamless knit construction. The glove fits both left and right hands. It is sold new and meets ANSI 105 and EN388 standards.
ANSI ISEA Cut Level A4
The single specification that decides suitability is the ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A4 rating. This level indicates the force required to cut through the material under the standard test method. Buyers who need a higher cut level such as A5 or above should select a different glove. The EN 388 rating is 3X42CP.
Sustained Abrasion and Heat Resistance
Under sustained load the glove provides ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Level 2 performance. The seamless knit HPPE construction resists wear during prolonged contact with rough surfaces. The glove is not insulated and offers no additional hazard protection beyond cut and abrasion resistance. It is TAA compliant.

Questions about this item
What does ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A4 mean for daily use?
The A4 rating indicates the glove resists moderate cut hazards such as sheet-metal edges or utility knives encountered in general-purpose tasks.
How does the EN 388 rating 3X42CP translate to abrasion and tear performance?
The rating shows abrasion level 3 and tear level 4, meaning the knit withstands repeated rough contact and resists tearing during handling.
Will the finished hem and reversible design fit either hand securely?
Yes, the finished hem prevents fraying and the ambidextrous knit allows the glove to be worn on the left or right hand.
