Extra Large 50L Travel Backpack

This 50-litre backpack fits laptops up to 17 inches in a dedicated padded compartment. The water-resistant faux-leather shell and adjustable straps suit daily commuters, students and travellers who carry a full day of gear. Twenty independent pockets keep accessories, documents and cables organised. The soft-shell construction stays flexible while protecting contents.

Upgrade From Smaller Daypacks

Replaces compact 20-to-30-litre bags when you need space for overnight clothing, a 15.6-inch workstation and bulky chargers in one load. The jump is worth it when daily carry regularly exceeds a single main compartment and side pockets. Three spacious main sections plus hidden sleeves eliminate the need for a separate tech organiser. Side elastic nets hold water bottles or umbrellas without crowding the interior.

Load Behaviour Under Weight

The 2.8-pound empty weight distributes across padded back panels and adjustable shoulder straps when the pack is filled toward its 50-litre capacity. Compression from the zippered main compartments keeps the centre of gravity close to the body during extended wear. Water-resistant fabric sheds light rain without soaking through to the laptop sleeve. Structure remains stable whether carrying a 13-inch ultrabook or a 17-inch mobile workstation.

Questions about this item

What are the external dimensions so I can check if this 50L backpack fits in an airline overhead bin?

The pack measures 19.5 x 15 x 11 inches (49.53 x 38.1 x 27.94 cm) and weighs 2.7998707274 pounds empty.

How do I adjust the shoulder straps so the padded 17 inch laptop compartment sits correctly on my back?

Loosen both adjustable straps, put the pack on, then pull the strap ends down and forward until the laptop panel rests flat against your upper back without a gap.

The faux leather base and water resistant polyester shell — what cleaning or replacement will they need over time?

Wipe the faux leather bottom with a damp cloth when scuffed; machine wash the polyester shell on a gentle cycle and air dry to maintain water resistance.
