Shure CVL Lavalier Condenser Microphone Black TA4F

Lavalier microphone for presenters

The Shure CVL is a miniature condenser lavalier microphone designed for speakers, instructors and broadcasters who need hands-free vocal capture. Its unidirectional cardioid polar pattern focuses on the voice while rejecting ambient noise. A permanently charged electret element delivers clear reproduction tailored for speech frequencies. The black finish and included tie clip keep the microphone discreet on clothing.

Connects to Shure wireless bodypacks

The TA4F (TQG) mini-XLR connector plugs directly into compatible Shure wireless transmitters, so no additional adapters are required. An included windscreen reduces plosives, wind and breath sounds during close-miked speaking. The clip secures the capsule to a lapel or collar, freeing the user's hands for gestures, notes or presentation controls. Sensitivity of 33 decibels and a signal-to-noise ratio of 65 decibels provide consistent levels in typical speech applications.

Replaces handheld or headset mics for spoken word

The jump is worth it when a presenter needs to move freely without holding a microphone or wearing a headset frame. It is not suited for musical instrument pickup, high-SPL sources or environments requiring omnidirectional coverage. Users who need a different connector type or a cable terminated for wired mixers should look elsewhere. The tailored frequency response is optimised for speaking and presentations rather than wide-range music capture.
