Product Overview

SHURTAPE CP 27 is a blue multi-surface painter's tape with a crepe paper backing and synthetic rubber adhesive. The roll measures 48mm wide by 55m long and is designed for general maintenance and repair tasks. It adheres to glass, metal, vinyl and wood surfaces.

Best Fit

This tape suits painters and tradespeople who need clean removal up to two weeks after application. It performs between 50 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit for indoor and outdoor use. Buyers who need a tape rated for higher temperatures or longer UV exposure should look at a different product.

Installation Notes

The continuous roll tears by hand for quick masking without tools. Press firmly along edges to achieve the rated 32 oz/in adhesion to steel and prevent paint bleed. The most common issue is reduced bond on dusty or oily surfaces, so wipe the area clean before applying.
