Industrial distance sensing

The Sick DT50-P1114 is a mid-range laser distance sensor built for industrial automation and electrician applications. It measures natural objects from 200 mm to 10,000 mm at 90 % remission with 1 mm resolution and ±10 mm accuracy. The red laser operates at Class 2 per IEC 60825-1:2014 and provides a 15 mm x 15 mm spot at 10 m distance. Response time ranges from 20 ms to 30 ms with a 4 ms output time.

Configurable measurement modes

The sensor includes switching modes for distance-to-object detection, teach-in setup, and scaling with inversion of both switching and analog outputs. A multifunctional input accepts laser-off, external teach, or deactivated commands while the LC display and dual LEDs provide status indication. Users can set moving averages for fast or slow response, adjust hysteresis, reset to factory defaults, or lock the interface. Average laser service life reaches 100,000 hours at 25 °C.

Power and connection limits
