The Sick IM08-06NPS-ZT1 is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor with an M8 x 1 thread and an 8 mm diameter housing. It provides a PNP normally-open output through a three-pin M8 connector. The sensor suits automation tasks that require non-flush mounting and a 6 mm nominal sensing range. It operates on a 10 to 30 V DC supply with a 200 mA continuous current rating.

Sustained operation at 500 Hz switching

The sensor maintains a 500 Hz switching frequency under continuous use, with hysteresis kept between 1 and 15 percent.
