C-slot cylinder sensor

The Sick MZC1-2V2PS-KP0 is a magnetic proximity switch built for C-slot pneumatic cylinders. It also fits SMC CDQ2 and ECDQ2 rails, round-body cylinders, plus profile and tie-rod cylinders when the appropriate adapter is used. The PNP output makes it compatible with standard 10 V DC to 30 V DC control inputs.

Thermals noise and power

The sensor draws only 8 mA from the supply, keeping heat negligible inside the cable run. Solid-state switching produces no audible noise during operation. An IP68-rated plastic housing and PUR cable withstand wash-down, coolant spray and temporary immersion without degradation.

PNP 1000 Hz switching

The 1,000 Hz switching frequency supports fast cylinder cycles on high-speed packaging or assembly lines. A typical response sensitivity of 2.2 mT and 0.1 mT reproducibility give consistent position feedback. The 0.3 m cable with M8 3-pin connector plugs directly into common I/O blocks.
