SICK VL12-2P132 retro-reflective sensor

The SICK VL12-2P132 is a cylindrical photoelectric retro-reflective sensor with PNP switching output. It operates on 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply voltage and detects objects up to 2.8 metres away using visible red LED light at 660 nm wavelength. The metal housing carries an IP67 enclosure rating for harsh environments.

The sensor measures 55 mm in length with a round M12 x 1 thread diameter for straightforward mounting. A 2 m PVC cable with four wires and 0.14 mm² conductor cross-section provides the connection. Selectable light/dark switching via the L/D control cable adapts the output logic to the application.
