The Sick VS/VE18-3P3240 is a cylindrical through-beam photoelectric sensor designed for industrial detection tasks. It uses an infrared LED with a maximum sensing range of 0 m to 20 m and a defined sensing range of 0 m to 14 m. The axial optical axis and 2.8° dispersion angle create a 700 mm light spot at the maximum defined distance. Sensitivity is adjustable via a 270° potentiometer.

The nickel-plated brass housing measures 78 mm in length with an M18 x 1 thread for secure mounting.
