The Sick VTE18-3N4412 is a cylindrical photoelectric proximity sensor with an NPN dark-switching output. It detects objects using an infrared LED with a 2.8° dispersion angle across a sensing range of 5 mm to 350 mm. The brass nickel-plated metal housing meets IP67 and operates from –25 °C to +70 °C. A 2 m PVC cable with 0.14 mm² conductors provides the connection.

This sensor suits automation circuits that require a 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply and an NPN switching signal. The potentiometer allows range adjustment up to 400 mm maximum detection.
