Industrial photoelectric proximity sensor

The Sick VTE18-3P2840 is a cylindrical, angled photoelectric proximity sensor designed for industrial automation and machine-building applications. It operates on a 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply with a PNP dark-switching output and a 2 ms response time. The IP67-rated plastic housing withstands ambient temperatures from –25 °C to +70 °C.

Potentiometer adjustment and M12 connector

A built-in potentiometer allows direct sensing-range adjustment without external tools or software. The infrared LED emits at a 2.8° dispersion angle, providing a maximum sensing range of 3 mm to 200 mm and a defined sensing range of 3 mm to 170 mm. Connection is made via a 4-pin male M12 connector for secure integration.
