Compact rectangular sensor for 10–30 V DC systems

The Sick WLL170-2N430 is a new NPN fiber-optic sensor in a rectangular ABS/PC housing measuring 10.5 mm x 35.5 mm x 83.7 mm. It operates on 10 V DC to 30 V DC supply voltage with a maximum power consumption of 30 mA. The unit weighs 70 g and meets IP66 enclosure rating for industrial environments.

Included bracket simplifies mounting on equipment

A BEF-WLL170 mounting bracket is supplied with the sensor for direct installation. The housing uses a male M8 4-pin connector for electrical connection. Circuit protection classes A, B, C and D are integrated alongside protection class III insulation.

660 nm visible red LED with potentiometer adjustment

The sensor emits visible red light at 660 nm wavelength from an LED source with approximately 65° dispersion angle. Sensing range reaches up to 4,000 mm in through-beam configuration and 160 mm in proximity mode.
