Two-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 60 A at 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting rating for Siemens P1 panels
The Siemens B260 is a standard bolt-on miniature circuit breaker rated at 60 A for 120/240 V AC single-phase systems. It uses a two-pole toggle actuator and lug terminals. Designed for Siemens P1 panelboards, it fits the BL frame size and provides overcurrent protection for residential and light-commercial circuits.
The breaker carries a maximum AIR rating of 10 kA at its rated voltage, which is the single specification that determines whether it can safely interrupt fault current in a given installation. If the available short-circuit current at the panel exceeds this value, the breaker is not suitable and a higher-rated device must be selected.
The bolt-on mounting style secures the breaker directly to the P1 panelboard bus, while the integral lug terminals accept conductors down to 8 AWG. No separate mounting hardware or terminal kits are required, so the accessories supplied with the breaker are the only parts needed for a standard installation.

It means the breaker will carry up to 60 A continuously and trip on sustained overloads or short circuits to protect the downstream wiring.
It limits the maximum prospective fault current the breaker can safely interrupt to 10 000 A on a 120/240 V AC supply.
It requires a bolt-on bus stab in a Siemens P1 panelboard and accepts wire down to 8 AWG on its lug terminals.
