A 35 A, two-pole bolt-on breaker rated 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity for Siemens panelboards
The SIEMENS BQ2B035 is a bolt-on miniature circuit breaker rated at 35 amps and 120/240 V AC. It fits single-phase Siemens panelboards that accept the BQ frame size. The two-pole toggle actuator provides standard over-current protection for residential and light-commercial branch circuits. The unit is new and carries a 10 kA interrupting rating at the rated voltage.
The decisive specification is the 35 A, two-pole rating at 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA AIR value. This combination determines whether the breaker matches the load calculation and the available fault current of the panelboard. It is not suitable for DC applications or for panels requiring a higher interrupting capacity. Verify the panelboard accepts BQ series bolt-on devices before purchase.
The lug terminals accept copper conductors from 14 AWG up to 6 AWG and aluminium from 12 AWG to 6 AWG, giving headroom for typical branch-circuit wiring. The 125 A frame size limits the maximum conductor ampacity, so circuits demanding larger conductors or higher frame ratings will need a different breaker family. Operating temperature is rated to 104 °F.

The breaker is rated to carry 35 A continuously; short overloads above that level will not cause an immediate trip, only sustained over-current will operate the thermal-magnetic mechanism.
It means the breaker can safely clear a fault current of up to 10 kA at 120/240 V AC; your panel's available fault current must be at or below this value for the breaker to be applied correctly.
It mounts in a Siemens panel using a bolt-on connection, accepts copper wire from 14 AWG to 6 AWG or aluminium from 12 AWG to 6 AWG, and occupies a standard two-pole slot within the 125 A frame size.
