Two-position spring-return actuator delivers 62 in-lb torque over 90° stroke at 24 VAC/VDC for damper control
The Siemens GMA121.1P is a line-protection actuator built for damper control in HVAC and generator systems. It operates on 24 VAC or VDC and delivers 62 in-lb of torque through a 90-degree stroke. The self-centering shaft and spring-return action suit automated shut-off or fail-safe sequences.
Ambient operating temperature spans -25 to 130 F, covering outdoor and mechanical-room environments. Power consumption is rated at 5 VA during normal drive cycles. The spring-return stroke completes in 15 seconds, limiting sustained current draw to the brief actuation period.
A mounting bracket, screws and a hex key are included for direct installation without extra parts. The unit replaces Honeywell MS8110A1008 motors, using the same 3 ft 18 AWG lead connections. Buyers who need a different torque rating or a non-spring-return drive cannot use this model.

Mount the actuator using the included bracket screws and hex key, connect the 3 ft 18 AWG leads to 24 VAC/VDC, and set the shaft to the self-centering position; the step often missed is verifying the 90-degree stroke alignment before tightening.
The spring-return mechanism is rated for a 15-second return cycle; plan to inspect the shaft and mounting hardware annually and replace the actuator if the return time exceeds 15 seconds or torque drops below 62 in-lbs.
The ambient temperature range tops out at 130 F; sustained operation above this limit will trigger thermal protection before any electrical or mechanical limit is reached.
