Three-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 20 A at 240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity, plug-in mounting for Siemens EQ load centres
The SIEMENS Q320 is a miniature circuit breaker rated 20 A at 240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity at 120 V AC. It is designed for three-phase loads in Siemens EQ load centres and suits electricians or facility managers adding or replacing branch-circuit protection.
The breaker uses a plug-in mounting style that fits directly into compatible EQ panelboards, secured by a toggle actuator. Lug terminals accept copper conductors from 14 AWG up to 8 AWG, and the 125 A frame size ensures consistent dimensions across the Q series for straightforward panel layout.
This unit upgrades or replaces existing standard 20 A three-pole breakers in the same series when a 10 kA rating is required. The jump is worth it when the available fault current exceeds the rating of the original device or when panel standardisation on the Q series simplifies spare-part management.

The 10 kA interrupting rating means the breaker can safely clear faults up to 10 000 amps at 120 V AC; above that level it may not interrupt cleanly.
It uses a plug-in mounting style and fits Siemens EQ load centres; the frame occupies three poles and measures 3.4 in long, 3.7 in wide and 12.8 in deep.
Snap the breaker into the EQ load centre bus stabs, then torque the lug terminals onto conductors between 14 AWG and 8 AWG; the torque step is frequently overlooked.
